About Us
Hello, and Welcome!
My great-grandma, my namesake, “Grandma Goggin,” was my best friend. Growing up, I spent nearly every weekend at her home in Dunkirk, New York, the home she was born in and the home where she raised four generations of family.
She lived independently into her mid-nineties. Driving, grocery shopping, and living her life with confidence and intention. When she eventually began showing signs of cognitive decline, my family and I felt helpless.
That experience changed my understanding of health and well-being, and pushed me to search for more. Through this search, I found naturopathic medicine and counseling psychology, which gave me the tools I was longing for in order to help individuals and families navigate the often confusing terrain that comes with mental and physical health challenges.
Through my education, I came to learn that health and well-being are built through solid foundations, ones that support resilience, purpose, and vitality over time. Bringing balance to body, mind, and spirit.
Today, my work is centered on helping women build solid foundations through naturopathic medicine and counseling psychology, so they can navigate stress, growing older, and life’s transitions with greater steadiness and support through both individual and cohort based care.
This practice is a reflection of Grandma Goggin’s legacy, and my way of becoming the support my family needed.
With care,
Dr. Elleanor Grace Smith, ND, MA, APCC
